From the Minister for Rural Affairs and Local Environmental Quality The Rt Hon Alun Michael MP

At the meeting of the Rural Affairs Forum on 19 January, I asked members and others to provide their views on Defraís rural funding streams from a customer perspective, what worked and what didnít and where things could be improved.

We have now launched a web page which aims to collect such feedback in a structured way. You can find it at:
www.defra.gov.uk/rural/ruraldelivery/response/default.htm

As well as giving more information about the rural funding streams review, it also provides a questionnaire seeking the information we need. I would be grateful if you could use this questionnaire to let us have your feedback as soon as possible which can then be analysed to provide us with customer views.

I would also be grateful if you could publicise this website to as many interested groups and individuals as possible. You may wish to consider providing a link to it from any websites you can influence to catch as many members of the public as we can. This should provide us with the information to make the review as effective as possible.

I greatly look forward to receiving your views.

The Rt Hon Alun Michael MP, the Minister for Rural Affairs and Local Environmental Quality
